Technical translation
Technical and editorial translation
I specialise more particularly in technical translation. This type of translation requires in-depth knowledge of the sector concerned and a perfect command of its terminology. In the course of my corporate career, I have worked in a number of highly specialized fields. My former employers rank among the market leaders in their respective industries.
I can also take care of your editorial translation needs. These are texts (website content, press releases, sales brochures, etc.) that require more creative translation. These texts therefore require “re-writing” in English in order to better adapt the message to the target culture.
Technical and editorial translation
I work with several translation agencies specialised in the following areas:
- Shipbuilding (civilian and military)
- Aeronautics (Airbus Helicopters certified translator)
- Luxury tourism / Cultural heritage
The types of text I translate:
- Sales and marking proposals, technical and scientific reports, user manuals, business and industrial processes, technical data sheets
- Website content, company and product brochures (sales, advertising, tourism, etc.)
- Company magazines, press releases and specialised press reviews
Quality translations
Whatever the nature of your translations, I guarantee compliance with the sense of your document, the use of terminology specific to your company or sector of activity, and the perfect adaptation of your original text to the culture and expectations of your target readership.
To do this, I translate exclusively from French and Spanish* into my mother tongue, English. I hold the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF) at level C2** and the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) at level B2**.
